Cavansite
Cavansite is in the Silicate family of minerals, and was named by combining its elemental abbreviations. Ca for Calcium, Va for Vanadium, and Si for Silica. it gets its vibrant blue color from the presence of Vanadium. it was originally found in Malheur County, Oregon when they were doing excavation work to build a dam on the Owyhee River. Most Cavansite these days comes from the Deccan Traps in India.

Pyrite
Pyrite also commonly referred to as Fools Gold is in the Sulfide family of minerals, and is composed of mostly Iron and Sulphur. Sometimes small amounts of Nickel and Cobalt will be found along side the Iron and Sulphur. Pyrite is a polymorph of its cousin mineral Marcasite. Named in antiquity from the Greek "pyr" for "fire", because sparks flew from it when struck with another mineral or metal.

Galena is also an important source for Silver, and has been the most important source of lead in history. Barite is the Primary ore they retrieve the element Barium from.
